We're back, baby!

Blogger has restored BoltWatch wholesale! It may have taken a little while, but they haven't just restored the URL - they've restored the entire blog.

BoltWatch is back at its traditional URL of BoltWatch.blogspot.com.

There may be some changes in the near future to, for example, WordPress. But in the meantime, BoltWatch is back home.

(Those of you who've been kind enough to update your links to here... uh, please update them back. Unfortunately it took Blogspot a week, just enough time for people to get around to changing their links and be most irritated by changing them again. I'm sorry about this.)

Bolt 22/12: "Goodbye"

UPDATE:

Since BoltWatch has now been restored to me, this post has moved here.

Welcome Back

Some contemptible little coward has stolen my AnonymousLefty and BoltWatch blogs.

Now, as to BoltWatch, well... maybe having it stolen isn't such a bad thing. Bolt hasn't really had anything new or interesting to say for a while, and I've been considering throwing the URL over to whoever wants to keep engaging with Old Rice & Monkey Nuts. Because he bores me rigid.

But what really annoys me, more than losing the URL (which has now bizarrely turned into an Andrew Bolt fansite), is losing the BoltWatch archives.

Andy is, of course, fairly repetitive: dams will magically solve the drought, multiculturalism is responsible for all the violence in the community, the Greens are a "religion", there was no such thing as a stolen generation (but if there was it was for their own good), if it's cold that disproves global warming, the ALP should become a conservative party so I could vote for it, gay marriage is just like polygamy in some mysterious way I'm not going to explain, abortion is sad and unpleasant so YOU DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE ISSUE, lefties are to blame for all the ills in the world.

So it was handy having an archive of responses to each of his standard rants to refer to in response to each "new" version he had published.

Ah well. This is what happens when you piss off some obsessive nutter on the right: he'll stalk you obsessively until he manages to hack your computer, and then he'll put on your e-skin and parade around in it like some deranged Norman Bates of the Internet. Creeeepy.

In the meantime, this will be BoltWatch (In Exile) until I get my URLs back.

(I have reposted several of the more recent posts below, although I do apologise - there's no way of reconnecting to posts the haloscan comments you've previously left.)
